1. READ THIS BEFORE YOU USE THE SERVICE
This is the single most important document Verendo publishes about what our service is and, more importantly, what it is not. Please read all of it.
If you take one thing from this page, take this:
Verendo gives you information and education about your blood biomarkers. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, it is not treatment, and it is not a substitute for your own doctor. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
2. WHO WE ARE
Verendo Health LLC is a Florida limited liability company formed on May 11, 2026. Its only member is Kevin McCall, MS, RDN, CSSD, a Registered Dietitian.
Kevin is not a physician. He is not a nurse practitioner, a physician assistant, or any other kind of medical doctor, and he does not practice medicine. A Registered Dietitian is a credentialed nutrition professional. That is a different job from a doctor’s, with a narrower scope: food, nutrients, supplements, and habits, not the diagnosis or treatment of disease.
Verendo is not a medical practice, a telehealth service, a laboratory, or a pharmacy.
3. WHAT THE SERVICE IS
When you buy a blood panel package, we arrange the lab order, receive your results, and run them through our analysis engine together with your intake answers. You get back a written report: how your biomarkers compare against optimization targets, and a ranked list of food, supplement, sleep, movement, and lifestyle options to consider, with the reasoning and the research behind each one.
The service is built for adults who are already generally healthy and want to optimize. It is not built to find disease, and it cannot.
3.1 How the analysis is produced
Our engine is automated and deterministic. It follows fixed, written rules, so the same inputs always produce the same output. It does not call any outside artificial intelligence service, and your health information is never sent to any AI vendor.
At launch, Kevin reviews every report before it is delivered to you. That review is a quality check on an automated analysis by a Registered Dietitian working inside dietitian scope. It is not a medical review, it is not a clinical examination, and it does not turn the report into medical advice or make Kevin your provider. If we ever change the review step, we will say so clearly on the website and by email before the change applies to you.
4. WHAT THE SERVICE IS NOT
- Not medical advice. Nothing in your report, on our website, or in any message from us is medical advice, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. It is information and education.
- Not a diagnosis. We do not tell you what condition you have. A flagged biomarker is not a diagnosis, and an unflagged biomarker is not a clean bill of health.
- Not treatment. We do not treat any condition, and nothing we suggest is a prescription or a course of therapy.
- Not a screening or a physical. Our panel is not a substitute for the screening tests, examinations, imaging, or preventive care your own clinician recommends. Do not skip those because you bought a panel from us.
- Not a second opinion. We do not review, confirm, or contradict a diagnosis or a treatment plan from your own clinician.
- Not emergency care. See Section 11.
- Not a replacement for your doctor. Keep your own medical care. Bring your report to your own clinician if you want a professional opinion on it.
5. WHY YOUR LABS WERE ORDERED
Your blood panel is ordered for nutritional optimization, not for diagnosis. That is the purpose of the order, and it is the only purpose the results are used for in your report.
Here is how the ordering works when you buy a panel, in plain terms:
- You pay for a panel package, and your intake answers decide which panel is ordered for you.
- We submit the panel through Fullscript, which provides both the lab catalog and an Authorization Network. A licensed clinician in that network reviews and signs your lab requisition, because the lab requires an order signed by a licensed clinician.
- Quest Diagnostics runs the tests. Your blood is drawn at a Quest Patient Service Center you choose or, if you choose the at-home draw, at your home by Getlabs.
- The results come back to us, and our engine analyzes them.
Three things follow from that, and they matter:
- The signing clinician is not your doctor. That signature is an authorization step so the lab can legally run the test. It is not a consultation, not an examination, and not ongoing care. See Section 6.
- This is not diagnostic testing. Your panel was not ordered to investigate a symptom, confirm a suspected condition, or rule anything out. If you have a symptom or a concern, that belongs with your own clinician, who can order the right test for the right reason.
- Nobody is managing your results as medical care. No one at Verendo, and no one in the Authorization Network, is monitoring your health, following your results over time, or acting as your treating provider.
If you want a result repeated, interpreted clinically, or entered into your medical record, take your report and your lab results to your own clinician.
6. NO PROVIDER-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP
Buying, reading, or acting on a Verendo report does not make you Kevin’s patient and does not make Verendo your healthcare provider. No provider-patient relationship, no physician-patient relationship, and no dietitian-client relationship of any kind is created by:
- purchasing a panel package,
- filling out our intake form,
- having your lab requisition signed by a network clinician,
- receiving or reading your report,
- emailing us a question about your report, or
- reading anything on our website, in our emails, or in our educational material.
The clinician who signs your lab order is not your doctor either. That review creates no provider-patient relationship between you and that clinician, or between you and Verendo.
One narrow exception. If you separately purchase 1:1 nutrition coaching, that engagement is individualized nutrition care and is governed by its own written coaching agreement. 1:1 coaching is not yet available. When we offer it, it will be available only to clients located in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Texas and Wisconsin. Kevin is licensed in Florida (license ND15442); the other states on this list do not require a license for this kind of nutrition coaching.
Everything else Verendo sells, including the lab-panel report, is informational and educational and creates no professional relationship.
7. TALK TO YOUR OWN CLINICIAN
Before you act on anything in your report, talk to a qualified healthcare professional who knows you, your history, and your current medications.
This matters most if you:
- take any prescription medication,
- have a diagnosed medical condition,
- are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding,
- have a history of kidney disease, liver disease, bleeding or clotting disorders, or an eating disorder,
- have a known allergy or sensitivity, or
- are scheduled for surgery or a procedure.
Never start, stop, or change the dose of a prescribed medication because of anything Verendo tells you. Only your prescriber makes that decision.
8. HOW TO READ WHAT WE FLAG
8.1 Optimization ranges are not diagnostic ranges
We often compare your results against narrower “optimal” targets rather than the laboratory’s standard reference range. Those targets are research-informed: they come from published studies about groups of people who tend to do well. They are not FDA-cleared diagnostic thresholds, they are not clinical cutoffs, and they are not the ranges your doctor uses.
Practically, that means three things:
- A value we flag as outside an optimization target is not a diagnosis and often is not abnormal at all by conventional clinical standards. Your doctor may look at the same number and call it normal. Your doctor is not wrong, and neither are we. We are answering a different question.
- A value we do not flag is not an assurance that you are healthy. Our panel measures a limited set of markers at a single moment.
- Where our target and the laboratory’s reference range disagree, the laboratory’s range is the clinical one. Ours is an optimization target.
8.2 What a blood panel cannot tell you
A blood panel is one snapshot from one morning. Results move with hydration, recent meals, recent training, illness, sleep, stress, time of day, menstrual cycle phase, medications, and supplements, including biotin. Laboratories also have their own measurement variation. A single out-of-range value is usually not meaningful on its own, and our report is not a substitute for the clinical judgment of someone who can examine you.
Follow the preparation guide we send you before your draw. If you do not follow it, your results may be inaccurate, and an analysis built on inaccurate results will be wrong.
8.3 What “talk to your physician about this” means in your report
Some findings sit outside what a dietitian can address. When our engine sees one, your report carries a physician-referral flag, worded in plain language along these lines:
“Talk to your physician about this result. It sits outside nutrition scope and is worth a medical evaluation. We are not telling you what it means.”
Read that flag exactly as written, and understand these five points:
- It is not a diagnosis. It is a statement that the finding belongs with a medical professional, not with us.
- It is not a prediction. It does not mean something is wrong. Many referral flags turn out to be nothing.
- It is not a referral in the medical sense. We do not send anything to a doctor, we do not name a doctor, we do not make an appointment, and we do not share your results with any doctor unless you tell us to.
- Following up is your responsibility, and only yours. We do not track whether you went, and we will not remind you.
- We will not go further. If you ask us what a referral flag means clinically, our answer will be to see your clinician. That is the limit of our scope, not an evasion.
If a result comes back critically abnormal, we will also try to reach you promptly at the email address you gave us. That outreach is a courtesy, not emergency care, and not a monitoring service. Do not rely on it. See Section 11.
9. SUPPLEMENTS
9.1 The FDA statement
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
That statement applies to every supplement discussed in a Verendo report, on our website, in our emails, and anywhere else we publish.
Dietary supplements are regulated as food, not as drugs. They are not reviewed for safety or effectiveness before they are sold, and product quality and label accuracy vary between manufacturers.
9.2 Tell your physician before you start anything
Talk to your physician or pharmacist before you start any supplement we suggest, especially if you take prescription medication. Supplements can interact with medications and with existing conditions. Real examples of the kind of interaction we mean: vitamin K with warfarin, magnesium with certain antibiotics, St. John’s wort with a long list of drugs, and high-dose biotin with the accuracy of several common lab assays.
Our engine screens for known interactions using the medication and supplement list you give us. That screen is only as good as what you told us. If your list is incomplete, the screen is incomplete.
9.3 Never change a prescription because of this report
Do not stop, start, skip, split, or change the dose of any prescribed medication because of anything in your report. Not to “make room” for a supplement, not because a marker moved, and not because a suggestion in your report seems to point that way. Only your prescriber changes a prescription. If something in your report seems to conflict with a medication you take, bring the report to your prescriber and let them decide.
Stop any supplement and seek medical attention if you develop a rash, swelling, trouble breathing, severe stomach upset, or any other reaction that worries you.
9.4 We may earn a commission
If a supplement link we publish is an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and we disclose that next to the link itself, not only in a footer. A commission never changes what our engine recommends. The same fixed rules run for every client regardless of what pays us.
10. FOOD, TRAINING, SLEEP, AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS
Suggestions about diet, exercise, sleep, and daily habits carry real risk if they are wrong for you.
- Get medical clearance before you meaningfully increase your training, particularly if you have cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, a joint or orthopedic problem, or have been sedentary.
- Dietary changes can be harmful for some people, including anyone with kidney or liver disease, a history of disordered eating, food allergies, or a medically prescribed diet.
- Stop and seek medical attention if you develop chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, an allergic reaction, or any severe or unexpected symptom after making a change.
You decide. You choose whether to act on anything we suggest, and you accept the risks of doing so.
11. THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room now.
Do not wait for a report, an email, or a reply from us. We do not monitor accounts, inboxes, or messages in real time, we cannot respond to urgent medical situations, and we provide no on-call, after-hours, or crisis service of any kind.
Call 911 or go to an emergency room for anything you reasonably believe is urgent, including chest pain or pressure, trouble breathing, sudden weakness or trouble speaking, severe or sudden pain, fainting, uncontrolled bleeding, or a severe allergic reaction.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the United States).
12. NO GUARANTEE
We do not guarantee any health result, and no result is typical.
Our recommendations are grounded in published research. Research describes groups of people, not you. What actually happens in your body depends on your genetics, your history, your medications, your habits, your environment, and a great deal that no blood panel can see.
We do not promise that your markers will move, that you will feel different, or that any goal you have will be met. We also do not promise that our analysis is free of error. Our engine is deterministic and reviewed, but it is software written by people, working from the information you give us and from a lab result produced by a third party. If you think your report contains an error, tell us, and the Terms of Service explain how we handle that.
Any testimonial or case example we publish is one person’s experience and is not a promise of what you will experience.
13. ELIGIBILITY AND SCOPE
- You must be 18 or older and located in the United States, and you must be in the United States when your blood is drawn.
- The service is for your own information. Do not use it for another person, a minor, or anyone whose blood is not your own.
- Our lab panel analysis is available in most of the United States. Our lab partner cannot currently serve people located in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. If you buy a panel from one of those places, we will cancel the order and refund you in full.
- 1:1 coaching, once it is offered, is available only to clients located in the states listed in Section 6.
14. SHORT VERSION (FOR REPORTS)
This is the short version of this disclaimer, written for reports. Every Verendo report carries a short disclaimer like the one below. It is a summary and does not replace this page. It is a summary and does not replace this page.
